| I've tried any number of cigars and I've pretty much settled on Hoyo de Monterey Excalibur #1 Maduro. It's the right flavor and the perfect size for a decent smoke. Get most of my cigars from JR's Cigars - they're reasonably priced and in pretty good condition when they get here. Locally, I usually go to Hiland's Cigars (6917 E. Thomas Road, Scottsdale). | |

Scott and I have enjoyed several enjoyable excursions during our time together. In 2005, we went on a
couple of cruises - one with Scott's family and one with a few friends of ours - both very enjoyable. In 2010, we had a great vacation in Italy, with three days in each, Rome, Florence and Venice. When we aren't on a cruise, I enjoy getting a feel for a city by driving around. I find driving through the city is the best way of getting the general feel for the place - the architecture of the buildings, the layout of the city, whether folks are out and about enjoying themselves or hidden away inside buildings. Also enjoy seeing the sites - museums, botanical gardens, parks, etc. If you're there already, you ought to see what the place has got to offer. |

When I'm not watching mysteries on TV ('Law and Order,' 'CSI,' 'The Medium,' etc.), I enjoy reading
mystery novels. P.D. James, Patricia Cornwell, Scott Turow, Tony Hillerman.... And when I'm not ranting about the latest goofball (I'm keeping it clean for the children here) thing the Administration or Congress has done, I'm chuckling and, at the same time, fuming (sometimes audibly), while reading Al Franken, Maureen Dowd and President Clinton. |
