Weight training has numerous benefits, among which are building of metabolism-boosting, fat-burning muscle, and increases to strength, endurance and overall well-being. I workout at LA Fitness, usually at the Scottsdale gym (Scottsdale Rd and McDowell) with my workout partner, Troy, but I can sometimes be found at the Mesa location (Gilbert and Southern) and occasionally at the Town/Country location (Camelback and SR51). I usually workout 4X week. | ![]() |

Music |

I enjoy both listening to music and writing/performing. The music that I enjoy listening depends on what I'm doing and my mood, and includes alternative (rock), hard rock, pop, hip-hop/soul, country-and-western, folk, latin, jazz, and new age. The music I have written and enjoy performing is more limited, and includes pop, country-and-western, folk, instrumentals and musical theatre. |

I saved the best for last. Eating good food is one of my favorite things to do (another reason why hiking and weight training are so valuable to me). I enjoy most types of food, but find I can't eat too much Cajun, Thai or Indian food because of spices that disagree with me. | ![]() |
